On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the Edcouch-Elsa ISD and Superintendent Dr. Greg Rodriguez honored the “Top of the Hive”. The Top of the Hive is a recognition of the top two teachers at each campus in grades K-12 who produced significant growth with their students above national norms.
Teachers grew students from the beginning of the year to the middle of the year as evidenced by the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment in math or language arts. Top of the Hive EEISD teachers were recognized with a breakfast ceremony where Edcouch-Elsa culinary arts students prepared and served a delicious offering of sweet and savory breakfast specialties.
