Valley Symphony Orchestra! VSO's Annual "Touch of Frost" Concert featured our Edcouch-Elsa HS Band Flute section for Pre-Concert entertainment! Thank you to the VSO for this wonderful opportunity. Our students enjoyed all of the Winter and Holiday Selections.
Congratulations to Senior Maricela Sital on her performance with the TMEA Region 28 “Symphonic Winds” Band this evening! Maricela was able to perform with students from all over Region 28. Students from Donna all the way to Brownsville.
Maricela was able to earn this opportunity by competing in the yearly TMEA All-State contest. Maricela has also advance to the next round of competition. We are all proud of her dedication and accomplishments! "

🎉🐷 4th Annual Showmanship Clinic & Toy Drive Success! 🎁✨
The Edcouch-Elsa FFA hosted its 4th Annual Showmanship Clinic on December 3, 2024, and it was a huge success! 🙌 Presented by Mr. Joe Carter, this event brought students together to showcase their hogs and develop their showmanship skills. Buckles were awarded to outstanding participants in four divisions: Seniors, Intermediate, Junior Intermediate, and Junior, including Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, and Third Overall Showman. 🏆👏
This clinic wasn’t just about showmanship—it also served as our annual toy drive, where participants donated new toys to bring holiday cheer to students in the Edcouch-Elsa School District. 🎄❤️
A big thank you to Mr. JJ Garza, Mr. AJ Garza, and the entire FFA chapter for their hard work in making this event a memorable experience for everyone involved. 💪✨

This was the first wrestling tournament of the season, and it was a fantastic experience for our athletes! Every competitor gave their best while gaining valuable insight into their physical progress. A special congratulations to the players who stood out with their outstanding performances.
